Tallow Face Oil Cleanser - Frankincense

Oil cleansers offer benefits like deep cleansing without stripping the skin of it’s natural oils, which can lead to improved hydration and a balanced complexion. It gently dissolves and lifts away traces of dirt, oil and sunscreen. It is also a good make-up remover!

How to use the tallow-oil cleanser: put a pea size amount of the tallow-oil cleanser in your hands and rub it on your skin for about 30-60 seconds. Wash off with warm water and a clean cloth. Then apply your moisturiser. 

Take note NOT to get water in the container as this can cause the product to go rancid.

We chose tallow because its chemical composition, is the single most compatible ingredient we could rub on our skin and have it actually absorb.

Our sebum (human skin oil) and tallow are both made up of around 55% saturated fats meaning it can be absorbed by our skin without leaving a greasy residue.

Jojoba oil is considered one of the best oils for your face because it is very similar to sebum. Although known as an oil, jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax.

Castor oil has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can also help with decreasing pimples, soften skin, and reduce the appearance of large pores.

Frankincense helps heal and restore tone to skin cells with it's astringent properties. This astringent quality also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and combats the loss of firmness in the cells.
