Tallow Face Balm - Unscented
Twine and Co tallow face balm is the perfect switch from chemical laden moisturisers to a more natural moisturiser.
Our Tallow face balm is highly absorbable with products such as grass fed beef tallow and organic jojoba oil, closely resembling the same composition as the human sebum (skin oil).

We chose tallow because its chemical composition, is the single most compatible ingredient we could rub on our skin and have it actually absorb.
Our sebum (human skin oil) and tallow are both made up of around 55% saturated fats meaning it can be absorbed by our skin without leaving a greasy residue.
Jojoba oil is considered one of the best oils for your face because it is very similar to sebum. Although known as an oil, jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax.

The thing that I love the most about the tallow face balm is the fact that the inflammation in my face went down immediately after using it for one night. It's soft and smooth and the mental gain of knowing you are putting something on your skin (that's our biggest organ) that is not loaded with chemicals and petroleum, is very rewarding. I would definitely recommend it.
If you are looking to keep things simple but want something buildable then this is for you. I only use a little amount in the summer as my skin tends to get a bit more oily. However now that it is winter, I like to use a a bit more to keep my skin feeling moisturized. My skin is really acne prone and feel like that this cream hasn't done anything to aggravate it more. Also it is a good amount, will last you a while.
First ordered the tallow cream in December and love it so much I ordered another two in case the stock runs out. (That worried that I run out 🤭) It is an amazing cream that nourishes, softens and gives your skin a youthful glow. Just loving it !
